We operate under EpiscoCare – a Christian NGO.  We are also part of the Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa.  Our main centre is located in Maadi – a suburb south of Cairo.

We have a vision of showing God’s love by empowering individuals who otherwise would not have opportunity for development.

Cairo is an international destination and Maadi attracts many foreigners.  Studying at the ETC is an International Experience.

History

The ETC began in 2001 – with a desire to provide quality Arabic lessons, at affordable prices.  The ETC moved to Hadayek El Maadi in 2002, at the same time English courses were introduced.  They were immediately popular and became an integral part of the ETC’s work. The English courses are run as ‘not for profit’ as a service to the community.  From 2013 we moved to our third location as our ‘home’ for many years was torn down in the post Revolution building boom.
